Irrigation Automation

This is one of the most advanced automated systems available anywhere in the world. By adding our wireless temperature and soil moisture monitoring probes with a range up to seven miles critical information is as close as your computer.

How it Works:

Add a complete weather station or just the components you need.

The power required to keep this system operational is provided by nature. By mounting a 64 watt Uni-Solar panel on a 2" diameter pole the solar panel provides enough electricity to maintain a charge in any deep cycle battery which in turn provides the power to the automated system. Our model 12 temperature probe monitors crop temperature to determine when and whether or not to start the irrigation pump. A real time clock allows for a user to select up to three irrigation sessions per day for up to a week in advance. The throttle actuator warms up the engine from idle to full throttle over a selectable period of time. The machines will cycle based on the changing temperatures thereby saving fuel and water. The throttle actuator controls warm up and cool down cycles increasing engine life and decreasing repair costs resulting from improper start ups and shutl downs. The pressure transducer monitors discharge pressure which is also controlled by the throttle actuator. Sudden increase or decreases in desired discharge pressure is compensated for by the throttle actuator. Sudden shutdowns as a result of high water temperature, low oil pressure or loss of fuel resulting in no speed signal will automatically trigger an e-mail to be sent to your computer and a text message sent to your cell phone.
